Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3...

Who would have ever thought that I would have started a blog page? Good grief what has happened?! Well I guess now is where I tell you....about what's going on... Well, I spent my whole summer in Estes Park, CO. and LOVED it. I am about to finish up school here in New Orleans, and I am still taking care of Ellie (3.75 almost 4) and Kate (1.5). I LOVE THEM! They are so great. I've truly been blessed with a great family to work for. It's hard to believe that my time in New Orleans is about to be up. I'm not too sure how I feel about that yet. Coming to school in New Orleans has been one of the best decisions I've made. Anyway, enough of that...the reason for this blog page. Pretty much I told my mom that if I were to leave the country for any length of time I would start a blog page so she could follow my journey. So...here's to you mom! :) The fun stuff. One day I was putting off a paper, when a Facebook quiz popped up..."where in the world should you live?" so of course, I took it. Australia was the answer. I posted this result in my status and laughed. My friend Brian then posted on my wall making a joke about how he would go with me. Little did I know that that stupid Facebook quiz would result in a 2-month backpacking trip to New Zealand and Australia! It's totally official. We've bought out tickets. There is no turning back now and I can’t even wait. I feel as if I am living in a surreal world. I will be leaving December 31, with NOBTS, and touring Israel. I will return from Israel on January 9th. On January 13th I fly out of Los Angeles, CA for New Zealand. Brian and I will be in NZ for 4.5 weeks—we’ll then fly to Sydney on February 15th and return home on March 4th. Upon returning from the Pacific, I will then head out March 11th to go to Greece (with a little cruise to Turkey!). I have no idea how I am going to survive all of this but I’m pretty stoked!

For now, I guess I should try to finish that annotated bibliography for Dr. Drumm and start that 20 page research paper for Vandercook. OR go to bed since it is 2 am!
